Openings still available for BYU French Camp June 5-21

For high school students excited about learning to speak French, Brigham Young University’s Division of Continuing Education offers the BYU French Camp every summer. The camp is a great opportunity to earn high school credit, improve language skills and meet other students with a passion for French.

This year's camp will take place Monday through Friday, June 5-21, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The program offers an intensive, three-week French language learning experience for mature, highly motivated high school students, ages 14-18, who have had one year of French or the equivalent. Students who complete the program will receive one credit (the equivalent of one year) of intermediate or advanced French through BYU Independent Study.

On-campus housing is available, with additional weekend activities included. Day-only tuition is $575 and overnight tuition is $1,600. Financial aid funds (up to $250 per participant) are available.

The application deadline was March 31, but potential participants who still want to apply should contact byufrenchcamp@byu.edu or call 801-422-6701.

For more information and an application, visit ce.byu.edu/cw/french.
