Museum of Peoples, Cultures hosts Valentines date night Feb. 12

Celebrating Valentine’s Day Egyptian style, the Brigham Young University Museum of Peoples and Cultures will be hosting an Egyptian-themed date night Friday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per couple and are available at the Information Desk at the Wilkinson Student Center. The date night will be held at the museum, which is located at 700 North 100 East in Provo.

The date night, titled “Sphinxes and Sweethearts,” will include games such as Pyramid, Balderdash and a mummy-wrapping competition. There will be Egyptian-themed refreshments and prizes. Couples will also learn a bit about ancient Egyptian culture and how to create hieroglyphics.

“This event is a great Valentine’s Day idea,” said Anna McKean, promotions manager at the MPC. “It gives you a chance to learn something new and interesting while having a fun time with your date.”
