Mother-daughter piano duo to present BYU recital Sept. 8

Duo pianists Irene Peery-Fox and Christie Peery-Skousen will perform piano favorites during a Brigham Young University School of Music recital Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The performance is free and the public is welcome.

The mother-daughter duo will perform works by Clementi, Rachmaninoff, Arensky and Ravel.

Both artists studied with Leon Fleisher and graduated from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. They recently returned from a concert series in California. Irene Peery-Fox is a member of the piano faculty at BYU.
