McKay School of Education features Mentored Research Conference April 7

Brigham Young University’s David O. McKay School of Education will host its annual Mentored Research Conference Tuesday, April 7, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Garden Court.

Sponsored by the McKay School’s Alliances for the Strength of Youth, this conference will showcase projects completed by undergraduate and graduate students mentored by faculty from six departments of the McKay School.

Admission is free. The event is open to the campus community as well as local students and teachers.

Participants in this year’s conference will present their research on a variety of topics, including “Eating disorders in junior high and high schools,” “Bullying via the Internet, “Using children’s literature to raise autism awareness” and “Comparing student behavior problems in China to those in the United States.”
