Martha Peacock to deliver annual Alice Louise Reynolds lecture Nov. 29

Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library will present the 13th annual Alice Louise Reynolds Women-in-Scholarship Lecture on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. in the Lee Library Auditorium on the first level.

Martha Peacock, an art history professor in the BYU Department of Visual Arts, will speak. Her lecture is titled "Heroines, Harpies and Housewives: Women of Consequence in the Dutch Golden Age." Admission to the lecture is free, and the public is welcome to attend.

The lecture series features prominent guest speakers in literature, bibliography and public service. The series is named in memory of Alice Louise Reynolds, who devoted many years to building the dream of a large and comprehensive library at BYU.
