“Live Right Now”: Gerrit W. Gong to give BYU devotional March 20

“Live Right Now” will be the topic of a Brigham Young University devotional featuring Gerrit W. Gong, assistant to the President for planning and assessment at Brigham Young University, Tuesday, March 20, at 11:05 a.m.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. For rebroadcast information, visit byubroadcasting.org.

Gong earned a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies from BYU and master’s and doctoral degrees from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. Following his education, he joined the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C.

Gong also worked for the State Department, fulfilling international assignments to China and Taiwan. He has researched and taught at Oxford, Georgetown University and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
