Law School Fair at Wilkinson Student Center Oct. 20

The Brigham Young University Pre-Law Advisement Center is hosting a Law School Fair Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom.

Students of all majors are invited to attend and visit with representatives from more than 130 law schools across the country.

The representatives will be on hand to discuss admissions, scholarships, programs and requirements for interested applicants.

Law schools that will have booths include Duke, Stanford, NYU, Columbia and BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
