Kory Katseanes to direct BYU Chamber Orchestra in Dec. 5 performance

The Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra will be performing Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets are available through the Fine Arts ticket window or by going online to byuarts.com/tickets. The event is also part of the artsPASS ticket package. Tickets are $10 or $6 with a student ID.

The orchestra under the direction of Kory Katseanes will be presenting Handel’s Concerto a Due Cori No. 2 in F Major, “Tableaus de Provence” by Paule Maurice and Haydn’s Symphony No. 83 in G Minor, “La Poule.”

The Chamber Orchestra regularly tours in the U.S. and Canada and has performed in The People’s Republic of China, Taiwan and throughout Europe. The quality of its players and the diversity of its repertoire have earned it the highest recommendation rating from the National Endowment of the Arts, as well as a recording contract with Pyramid Records of Paris.
