Iranian to recount her Latter-day Saint experience during June 21 BYU lecture

Jamileh Zaifnejad Hogan, a language analyst with the Department of Justice, will present "An Iranian's Latter-day Saint Experience" for a Global Awareness lecture Wednesday, June 21, at noon in 238 Herald R. Clark Building at Brigham Young University.

Hogan, who has worked with the Department of Justice for ten years, was born in Tehran. She studied at the University of Tehran, where she majored in psychology, and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in January 1975.

Hogan later attended BYU, earning a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's degree in international relations. She also worked for a consulting firm in Washington, D. C., and taught Farsi at the Provo Missionary Training Center.
