Intercollegiate Studies Institute honors BYU student

Brigham Young University student Verlan Lewis has been selected by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute as one of the 50 most talented undergraduates nationwide and has been invited to participate in the institute’s Honors Program.

As one of the institute’s honors fellows, Lewis, who is a political science and American studies major, will receive one-on-one mentoring from distinguished faculty members from universities across the nation.

He will also be provided with professional assistance regarding internships, job opportunities and graduate and professional programs. In addition, he will receive a large collection of free books and journals to assist him in his educational and professional endeavors.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute was founded in 1953 and works to identify the best and the brightest college students in the nation and to nurture the American ideal of ordered liberty in these future leaders. To learn more about the institute, visit www.isi.org.
