I-15 CORE Alert: Work to begin on S-curve between University Parkway, Provo Center Street

The I-15 CORE Utah County project will begin in late April or early May with the reconstruction of the S-curve between University Parkway and Provo Center Street, a development that will reduce traffic by one lane and is expected to last five months.

This phase of the project will affect southbound I-15 traffic from University Parkway to Provo Center Street in particular. UDOT engineers expect 40- to 60-minute delays during the peak afternoon commute hours after 3 p.m. BYU employees and students are encouraged to adjust their driving routines accordingly.

The asteroid, previously known as “45690,” now bears the name “45690janiradebaugh” on official NASA/JPL websites.
