Global Environment film series at BYU Nov. 6–10

Including Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"

The David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies at Brigham Young University in partnership with BYU's Ecology Club will host a Global Environment film series Nov. 6–10 in 238 Herald R. Clark Building.

"An Inconvenient Truth," Al Gore's documentary, will be screened on Tuesday at noon and 3 p.m. A faculty discussion on the documentary will take place at 2 p.m.

The series will focus on critical environmental threats, including toxic chemicals, global warming, unsustainable economic growth and over-consumption.

The series is free, and the public is welcome.

Screenings are scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, 3 p.m, "Blue Vinyl"

  • Tuesday, noon and 3 p.m., "An Inconvenient Truth"

  • Wednesday, 3 p.m., "An Inconvenient Truth"

  • Thursday, 3 p.m., "Affluenza"
