On Saturday, October 3, from 6 to 8 pm, girls and women are invited to the BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures for a free, uplifting social activity, including a service project.
Many of the men and boys in the region will be participating in the Priesthood Session of the General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so the Museum is providing an activity for women and girls spend time together.
"We are going to get together to serve with a BYU Y-Serve group called Service to the World, which will be a great opportunity to be unified as women and girls for a good cause," said Event Specialist Kathryn Dawson.
The event will be an open-house, with an inspirational message, a fun service project, treats and socializing, for all of the participants to be uplifted and rejuvenated from the long week. This is a can't-miss for all the student, mothers and daughters looking for a productive and uplifting way to have fun during General Conference weekend.
The Museum of Peoples and Cultures is always free and is located at 2201 North Canyon Road (next door to Outdoors Unlimited at the corner of Canyon Road and 2230 North in Provo).
