Find yourself running out of activity ideas for your family or YSA group to do Monday night? Let the BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures do the planning for you.
On the third Monday of each month, the Museum holds a Family Home Evening activity, welcoming families starting at 7 p.m., and YSA groups starting at 7:30 p.m. The cost is just $5 per family or group.
During the event, everyone will have a chance to explore the current Musuem exhibit "Second Stories," to learn about the importance of treasuring our own personal stories, and the stories of others. The exhibit highlights the history of the Museum, showcasing some examples from the more than two million artifacts that the Museum has collected.
Family Home Evening participants will have the opportunity to experience the Museum in a different light, and create their own memory box, to start identifying their own stories.
The Museum of Peoples and Cultures is located at 2201 North Canyon Road (next door to Outdoors Unlimited at the corner of Canyon Road and 2230 North in Provo). Call (801)-422-0020 to reserve the spot for your family or group!
