Feb. 1 deadline for Internship Grant applications

The Brigham Young University Internship Office has funding available to award Internship Grants for up to $15,000 through the 2010 Internship Grant program.

Funding is available to help departments develop, improve and expand programs, and to establish credible internship programs where there are none as part of an overall curriculum. Funding can be applied to improve infrastructure, increase cultivation or strengthen supervision of internships in a department.

Funding is available in the categories of wages (for adjunct faculty or part-time faculty, administrative or student assistants), supplies and equipment, and domestic travel. All proposals must demonstrate some commitment of department resources to internships.

For a complete list of details, please review the application guidelines at webpub.byu.edu/internships-byu/OtherFiles/pdf_forms/2010-InternshipGrantRFP.pdf.

Applications are due by Feb. 1 at the Internship Office in Building B-34, office 130A or by e-mail at internship@byu.edu. All applications will be considered by the Internship Advisory Committee, and all applicants will be notified by March 31. Awards will be given beginning to mid-April 2010 to use during the reminder of the calendar year.
