Elder William R. Bradford at BYU devotional June 3

Elder William R. Bradford, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Brigham Young University devotional Tuesday, June 3, at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The devotional will be broadcast live on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), KBYU-FM (89.1), the BYU-Television and BYU-Radio satellite networks and at http://www.byubroadcasting.org. It will be rebroadcast Sunday, June 8, on KBYU-FM at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, June 15, at 6 and 11 a.m. on KBYU-TV and on BYU-Television at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Elder Bradford was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy while serving as president of the Chile Santiago Mission. Before his appointment, he studied at BYU and later went into the fruit-growing and shipping business in Texas. He was the owner of a firm that grew citrus and tropical fruits and truck-garden crops in Texas, Mexico and Central America for distribution in the United States and other countries.

BYU planetary geology professor Jani Radebaugh’s contributions to planetary science have reached cosmic proportions as she recently received the prestigious honor of having a minor planet named her. The asteroid, previously known as “45690,” now bears the name “45690janiradebaugh” on official NASA/JPL websites.
