Elder Tad R. Callister at BYU devotional Dec. 6

Elder Tad R. Callister, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center for a Brigham Young University campus devotional.

It will be broadcast live on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), BYU-Television, KBYU-FM (89.1), BYU-Radio and byubroadcasting.org, as well as on campus in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium and the Varsity Theater in the Wilkinson Student Center. Elder Callister has served in a number of Church callings including stake president, regional representative, mission president’s counselor, mission president and Area Seventy. He was sustained a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy April 5, 2008, at age 62.

He received a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from BYU in 1968. He later attended UCLA Law School, graduating with a law degree in 1971. The following year, he earned an LLM degree in tax law from New York University.
