Elder Jon M. Huntsman, founder and chairman of the Huntsman Corporation and Area Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Brigham Young University campus devotional Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

In 1996, Elder Huntsman was called by President Gordon B. Hinckley to serve as an Area Seventy. Currently, he is a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy of The Church. From 1980 to 1983, he was president of the Washington D.C. Mission.
He is widely recognized as one of the America’s foremost concerned citizens and philanthropists. In 1995, he, along with his wife, founded the Huntsman Cancer Institute to accelerate the work of curing cancer through human genetics.
Elder Huntsman holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He has received 13 honorary degrees at various universities.
