Elder John H. Groberg at BYU Family History Fireside Feb. 27

Elder John H. Groberg of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the fireside speaker at the annual winter semester 2004 Family History Fireside Friday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Joseph Smith Auditorium at Brigham Young University.

His talk is titled “Family: The Eternal Perspective.” The event is free and open to the public.

Elder Groberg was called to be a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy on April 3, l976. He currently serves as president of the Utah South Area of the Church.

He has served as the executive administrator for several areas of the Church, including the Pacific Islands, Nevada and Arizona, the U.S. North Central and the Northern California Areas. He has served in the Utah North, Utah South, North America West, South America South and Asia area presidencies.

Elder Groberg received a bachelor’s degree from BYU and a master’s degree from Indiana University, where he also taught.
