Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Presidency of the Seventy to address BYU devotional March 10

Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at a university devotional Tuesday, March 10, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. Visit byub.org/devotionals or speeches.byu.edu for rebroadcast and archive information.

Elder Jensen serves as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy, having previously served in Area Presidencies in Central and South America and in various areas in the United States and Canada.

Prior to Elder Jensen’s call to full-time Church service, he was the Church’s director of scriptures coordination. He has also served in the missionary programs of the Church as a full-time missionary in the Texas/New Mexico and as a mission president of the Colombia Cali Mission. In the Church Education System, he taught seminary, wrote curriculum and trained prospective seminary teachers.

He received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from BYU.
