Elder Glenn L. Pace to speak at March 9 devotional

Elder Glenn L. Pace, a member of the Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at Brigham Young University’s devotional Tuesday, March 9, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The devotional will be broadcast live on all BYU Broadcasting channels. It will also be archived online at byub.org or at speeches.byu.edu. Rebroadcast information is available at the Web site.

Previous to his calling in the Seventy, Elder Pace was a counselor to Elder Robert D. Hales in the Church’s Presiding Bishopric. He was then called by President Ezra Taft Benson to serve in the Seventy in 1992. Since then, he has also served as general president of the Sunday School and the Young Men organization. He also served as the first mission president of the Australia Sydney North Mission.

Previous to his service in the Church, Elder Pace worked as a general manager of the LDS Church Welfare program. He also worked in major financial positions in two “Big Eight” financial firms and as CFO of a land development company. He graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting.
