Elder David A. Bednar to deliver CES fireside address May 3

Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will present a Church Educational System fireside Sunday, May 3, that will be broadcast at 6 p.m. at Brigham Young University’s Marriott Center.

The fireside also will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. For rebroadcast information, visit byubroadcasting.org.

Following his full-time mission to southern Germany, Elder Bednar graduated from BYU with bachelor's and master's degrees. He then completed his education at Purdue University, where he earned a doctoral degree in organizational behavior.

His professional life has included service as a professor of business management at Texas Tech University and the University of Arkansas. At the time of his call to the Quorum of the Twelve in October 2004, he was serving as president of BYU-Idaho.
