Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at a Brigham Young University campus devotional Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

Elder Christofferson was called to serve as member of the First Quorum of the Seventy in April 1993, and he currently has supervisory responsibility for the North America Southeast Area.
He previously served as executive director of the Family and Church History Department, as president of the Mexico South Area of the Church and as a counselor in the North America Southwest Area Presidency.
Prior to his full-time church service, Elder Christofferson practiced law in Washington, D.C, served as associate general counsel of NationsBank Corporation (now Bank of America) and as senior vice president and general counsel for Sovran Bank of Tennessee.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from BYU and his law degree from Duke University.
