Elder Andersen to address CES Fireside at BYU Marriott Center

Elder Neil L. Andersen, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will address a Church Educational System Fireside Sunday, March 4, at the Brigham Young University Marriott Center.

The fireside will be broadcast live on the BYU-Television and BYU-Radio satellite networks and at byubroadcasting.org. Rebroadcast information is available at byubroadcasting.org.

Elder Andersen began his service as a general authority in 1993 when he was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy. He has also served as executive director of the Audiovisual Department and as first counselor in the Sunday School General Presidency. Elder Andersen has worked in area presidencies in the Brazil South, Utah North, North America Northeast and Europe West areas, as well as devoting three years to preside over the France Bordeaux Mission.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
