DMBA Web site adds two new features

The DMBA Web site at http://www.dmba.com is offering two new services: a Life Events library and a Healthwise Medical Knowledgebase.

The first service is a Life Events library. Eighteen different life events are featured in the library, providing relevant plan information, checklists for actions to be taken and links within the DMBA Web site. Instead of looking through the DMBA Handbook for answers, you can go to one spot for information. The events featured include:

  • Family-Related Life Events— Getting Married

    New Addition to the Family

    Planning for Your Future

    Illness and Injury

    Changing Physicians

    Moving

    Children Leaving the Nest

    A Death in the Family

    Separation and Divorce

  • Career-Related Life Events— New Employee

    Open Enrollment

    Part-time Employment

    Leave of Absence

    Military Leave

    Disability

    Changing Employers

    Terminating Your Employment

    Nearing Retirement

The Healthwise Medical Knowledgebase is easy to access and contains information on hundreds of medical conditions. Information is presented on:

  • Health Topics: Illnesses, diseases, symptoms, treatments, when to call a doctor.

  • Medical Tests: Tests and exams for medical conditions.

  • Medications: Prescriptions and non-prescription drugs.

  • Support Groups: Self-help and support groups. For more information, visit the Web site at http://www.dmba.com or contact the BYU Benefits Office at ext. 2-4716.
