Deseret News National Edition, Church News available free throughout campus

Throughout the 2014 winter semester, free weekly editions of the Deseret News National Edition and Church News will be available in news racks on Brigham Young University’s campus.

BYU administrators hope the publications will strengthen students’ lives and foster awareness of topics relevant to the campus community. More than 30 Deseret News/Church News racks are currently in place throughout campus with a commemorative edition of the Deseret News National Edition along with the Church News.

The Deseret News National Edition, including the Church News, seeks to bring information, analysis and commentary concerning contemporary events affecting faith, family, care for the poor, education, culture and financial responsibility with an eye toward real-world solutions.

The Deseret News National Edition is not a comprehensive source for news, focusing exclusively on its six areas of emphasis. The publication is currently distributed in more than 20 institutions, including BYU-Idaho, BYU-Hawaii and LDS Business College.
