DATE CHANGE: U.S. Coast Guard Band Saxophone Quartet to give BYU concert Oct. 1

The United States Coast Guard Band Saxophone Quartet will be performing in a free concert Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Brigham Young University’s Madsen Recital Hall.

The quartet consists of Chief Musicians Josh Thomas (alto) and Adam Williamson (tenor) with Musicians First Class Greg Case (soprano) and Jeff Emerich (baritone). They are all members of the saxophone section in the United States Coast Guard Band.

The quartet performs in recitals and concerts across the nation and made an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno in 2002. They also perform regularly at conferences held by the World Saxophone Congress, the North American Saxophone Alliance and the United States Navy Band.
