Daniel Bachelder to present faculty trombone recital Oct. 28

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents a faculty recital featuring Daniel Bachelder, with special guests Steve Call and Robin Hancock on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.

The recital will feature Bachelder on trombone and euphonium, Call on tuba and Hancock on piano.

Pieces will include music from the Baroque, Romantic and Classical periods. Featured composers include Johann Friedrich Fasch, Antonio Capuzzi, Sigmund Romberg, Alexandre Guilmant, C. Saint-Saens, Walter S. Hartley and Lars-Erik Larsson.

"It's a mixture of pieces, so we're not trying to stick to one period," Bachelder said. "Anyone who likes good music will enjoy it."
