Dance Senior Showcase Friday and Saturday in Richards Building

The Dance Senior Showcase will be held Friday and Saturday, June 11 and 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dance Studio Theater in 166 Stephen L. Richards Building on the Brigham Young University campus.

The public is invited to attend this free event.

The showcase will feature the choreographic work of seniors graduating in dance. The work is the result of senior projects performed as a capstone experience for the students.

The project allows students to demonstrate their understanding of performance, technique and composition. Work on the projects usually begins during Winter Semester for most students.

BYU’s space ace: Minor planet named in honor of Jani Radebaugh

BYU planetary geology professor Jani Radebaugh’s contributions to planetary science have reached cosmic proportions as she recently received the prestigious honor of having a minor planet named her. The asteroid, previously known as “45690,” now bears the name “45690janiradebaugh” on official NASA/JPL websites.
