Creamery on Ninth celebrates Grand Re-Opening this week

The Creamery on Ninth is celebrating its Grand Re-Opening Monday through Thursday, Oct. 28-31, and invites the campus and local community  to attend.

The construction is over, and there are now 40 new parking stalls for customers, located behind the Creamery, which will provide easier and more convenient access.

Jason Carter, manager of the BYU Creameries, is happy to have the new parking stalls for its customers.

“We are excited to welcome everyone back,” Carter said. “We hope our customers will utilize the new parking and keep enjoying the Creamery like they always have."

To celebrate the re-opening, all of the Creamery customer’s favorite items will be on sale, incuding milk, which will be for sale at an even greater discount. Half gallons of BYU ice cream will be on sale for $3.99, and customers will receive a free child’s scoop of ice cream with the purchase of any combo meal.

The BYU Creamery opened in 1949, providing milk for the BYU campus. It soon began selling ice cream, cheeses and other dairy products.

In addition to its own line of foods, the Creamery on Ninth sells various general supermarket items. The grill is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.  The store is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m.to midnight Friday and Saturdays.
