Cougar Marching Band in concert Nov. 8 at de Jong Concert Hall

The Brigham Young University Cougar Marching Band will leave the field at LaVell Edwards Stadium to perform in concert Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets are $6 and are available through the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 422-4322, or at byuarts.com/tickets.

The band has more than 225 members, including a highly accomplished Drumline Battery and an incredible Color Guard. They have been performing for more than a century, first taking the field in 1908 under the direction of Robert Sauer.

Today, under the baton of Fred McInnis, the band has become one of the defining features of BYU football home games. They have toured across the nation performing in the Fiesta Bowl, the Tangerine Bowl, seven Holiday Bowls, the All-American Bowl, the Cotton Bowl and many others.

For more information, contact Fred McInnis at (801) 422-3420 or fred_mcinnis@byu.edu.
