"Christmas Camp" for young baseballers available at BYU Dec. 27

The Brigham Young University Baseball Academy will hold a general skills “Christmas Camp” on Thursday, Dec. 27, for players ages eight to 18 who want to learn and improve in all aspects of the game.

The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indoor Practice Facility, where BYU baseball coaches and team members will teach the players how to improve their individual skills in pitching, catching, throwing, running, fielding and hitting. The cost for the camp is $109, including lunch and a camp t-shirt.

Players will receive personal feedback and specialized training using professional equipment. They will learn techniques to improve both performance and strength to keep their baseball skills sharp during the Winter season.

Parents may register players in person or by mail, phone or online. Walk-on players will be accepted the day of the camp if there is room, but parents should register their players early to secure a spot in the camp.
