Elder Hammond will deliver the keynote address, “The Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament,” at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium. Following his address, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., lectures will continue in the JSB Auditorium and in the Thomas L. Martin Building with five concurrent sessions held each hour.

On Saturday, five concurrent sessions will begin at 9 a.m. with more sessions at 10, 11 and noon in the JSB Auditorium and the MARB. Presenters include faculty from the BYU Ancient Scripture and Church History and Doctrine Departments, faculty from BYU-Hawaii and other Church scholars.

Sponsored by BYU Religious Education and the Church Educational System, the symposium's general objectives are to increase gospel knowledge and strengthen individual testimonies.
