For preschool, pre- and post-kindergarten sections

The Brigham Young University Child and Family Studies Laboratory is now accepting applications for its preschool, prekindergarten and postkindergarten sections of the Summer 2007 and Fall 2007-Winter 2008 programs.

The summer school session will run from June 25 to Aug. 9. Any child who turns 4 years old by Sept. 1 is eligible for the preschool program. Children entering kindergarten in September 2007 may attend the prekindergarten program, and those beginning first grade in September are eligible for the postkindergarten program. Tuition is $225 for the seven-week program.

The laboratory is also taking applications for the Fall 2007-Winter 2008 preschool program for children who turn 4 years old by Sept. 1. The session begins on Sept. 10 and ends April 15, 2008. The eight-month program costs $1,000 per student.

In addition, applications may now be submitted for the Fall 2007-Winter 2008 kindergarten program, which is open to children who turn 5 years old by Sept. 1. The session, which costs $1,550 per student, runs from Aug. 20 to May 30, 2008.

Parents may pick up applications in 1100 Joseph F. Smith Building or apply on the phone by calling (801) 422-3219. Applications for all programs will be accepted until May 1, and notification of acceptance will be mailed by May 15.
