Center for Instructional Design hosts "Teachnology" Expo Oct. 27-28

The Center for Instructional Design invites faculty to expand their vision of ways to improve teaching and learning by attending the "Teachnology" Expo Oct. 27-28 from 10-3 p.m. in 3222/24 WSC.

The expo will inform, instruct and inspire faculty to find solutions to solve classroom and curriculum problems in meaningful and appropriate ways. Faculty will have the opportunity to:

  • Get answers to questions about copyright, Blackboard, testing and instructional technology.

  • Create online quizzes, PowerPoint presentations, scan documents and images, edit video and audio clips and compress files for Blackboard.

  • See examples of projects from faculty members who have found innovative ways to improve teaching and learning.

  • Discover the resources, grants and fellowships available to help support faculty.

  • Win technology and training packages to help transform ideas into digital reality.

  • Receive consultation and training in multimedia.

  • View examples of faculty projects. The Faculty Center, Testing Services, Lee Library, Academic Publishing, CID's Instructional Media Center and the Copyright Licensing Office will also provide faculty with information and access to a variety of resources and services all in one location.
