Careers in nonprofit organizations to be BYU lecture topic Nov. 10

Carolyn Grow Dailey, president/CEO of Ascend, will speak on “Career Reflections: Nonprofit” Thursday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. in 238 Herald R. Clark Building at Brigham Young University.

During 19 years as an executive for international humanitarian efforts, Dailey has facilitated integrated community development programs, service adventure expeditions and internships in 12 countries, as well as assisted partnering organizations in several other countries. Her vision for Ascend is long-term sustainability through diversified self-reliance, where development activities, families, communities and Ascend operations become self-sufficient.

She was selected by BYU’s Romney Institute of Public Management as Administrator of the Year and received the Freedom Foundation’s Heroes Award. Utah Business magazine selected her as one of the 30 Business Women to Watch.

This lecture will be archived at kennedy.byu.edu/archive. For more information, contact Lee Simons at (801) 422-2652 or lee_simons@byu.edu.
