BYUtv hosts free pre-conference screening for Women's Conference

Want to enhance your visit to the 2012 BYU Women's Conference? BYUtv has just the event for you.

On Wednesday, April 25 , before the Women's Conference officially begins, BYU Broadcasting will host a free VIP screening at the BYU Broadcasting Building. Those who attend will have the chance to watch an episode from two highly anticipated original series on BYUtv.

First is the compelling documentary series Listen, where you'll learn about Hayley, a good girl with a good heart who must work through the guilt of her privilege. The half-hour episode follows Hayley through her adolescence as she struggles through the ins and outs of growing up.

Then catch an episode of the new BYUtv series The Song that Changed My Life, featuring Tony Award winner Lea Salonga. This series showcases musicians talking about the songs that changed the direction of their lives and careers. Lea will take us behind the scenes of her time starring in Broadway hits such as Miss Saigon and Les Misérables, and tell us what it was like to provide the singing voices of two of Disney's most memorable princesses: Aladdin's Jasmine and Mulan.

Following the screening, guests will have an opportunity to address Rick Stevenson, director and producer of Listen and The 5,000 Days Project: Two Brothers, in a Q&A session about the production.

Click here to reserve a seat for this unique screening opportunity. Seating will open at 7 p.m. at the BYU Broadcasting Building, with the screening scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
