“The Kennedy Way,” an intimate look at the life of ambassador and statesman David M. Kennedy through commentary by his daughters and the influential players who worked for him, will be aired on BYU Television April 4-9.
Kennedy was an international banker, Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, U.S. ambassador-at-large and U.S. ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and served as ambassador-at-large for the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Created in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Brigham Young University's David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies, this unique documentary explores the key values that contributed to Kennedy’s leadership style and global perspective, both of which are inextricably linked to his lifetime of service.
The program will air on BYUtv as an Iris segment on these dates and times:
• Monday, April 4, at 6 and 9 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 5, at noon
• Thursday, April 7, at 10 a.m.
• Saturday, April 9, at 4 p.m.
Ambassador Kennedy's vision and legacy live on through the David M. Kennedy Center, students and alumni. Interested Kennedy Center alumni may contact kennedycenter@byu.edu to receive a copy of this DVD.
