The BYU School of Music presents the Wind Symphony in “Something Old—Something New” in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Conductor Don Peterson leads this premier instrumental ensemble in Classical and contemporary pieces that highlight the wind band music from around the world.
The Wind Symphony will perform a diverse program ranging from old favorites by Percy Grainger, Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams to new compositions by James Barnes, Steven Bryant and Gregory Youtz.

Over the past four years, associate university carillonneur Amber Dahlberg has enjoyed what she calls “the best view” of BYU. From the carillon inside the top of the bell tower, the BYU student has performed hundreds of the university’s traditional 30-minute noon recitals, providing an inspiring campus soundtrack for students, staff and visitors going about their business.
The daily live streams will feature the talented BYU Ballroom Dance Company, Living Legends, Vocal Point, Young Ambassadors, and the International Folk Dance Ensemble.
