BYU's "Education in Zion" exhibit hosts family night activity Oct. 5, 19

Brigham Young University’s “Education in Zion” exhibition will host a family night, Monday, Oct. 5, on the second floor exhibition gallery, located in the Joseph F. Smith Building.

The program starts every 30 minutes beginning at 7 p.m. and running until 9 p.m. The event is free and the public is welcome to attend.

The program features staff members of the “Education in Zion” exhibition as different figures from BYU heritage share their stories dressed in period costume, including a song and short lesson.

A special Homecoming Week encore edition of the program will be hosted on Monday, Oct. 19, when participants can learn from legends of BYU’s history, such as Karl G. Maeser.

The “Education in Zion” exhibition is open Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition is closed during campus devotionals and forums. Guided tours are available by appointment.
