BYU's Bean Museum to display award-winning photograph Feb. 8-March 14

Feb. 8 reception will honor winners

The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum at Brigham Young University will display the winning entries from its 2008 Nature Photography Competition and Exhibition Friday, Feb. 8 to Friday, March 14 at the museum.

There will be an opening reception on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.at the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum. The general public is welcome to attend. Both events are free.

The winning photographs, taken by both amateur and professional photographers, will make up the exhibition. The awards include: Best of Show; Museum Purchase Award; Museum’s Choice Award; People’s Choice Award; First, Second and Third Places; and Allen’s Camera Excellence Award.

All photographs feature natural outdoor settings.
