BYU Women's Chorus plans Winter Concert March 20

More than 150 female voices will join together for Brigham Young Universitys annual Womens Chorus Winter Concert, Thursday March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets at $9 for the general public or $3 off with a BYU or student ID are available at the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 378-4322 or www.byu.edu/hfac.

Directed by Kenneth L. Owen and assisted by Vicki McMurray, the performance will highlight three sacred songs, including Mirth by David Sargent, Though He Were a Son by Sue Neimoyer and Lift Thine Eyes by Felix Mendelssohn.

They will also perform a selection of Irish and Scottish folk songs including The Little Red Lark, Loch Lomond and Rothsay-O.
