BYU will host Annual Easter Conference April 9

Brigham Young University will host the annual Easter Conference Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to noon in 140 Joseph Smith Building. Admission is free, and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The conference will feature keynote speaker Elder John H. Groberg, emeritus General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Sandra Rogers, international vice president at BYU; and Charles L. Swift, BYU associate professor of ancient scripture. Speakers will talk about the Savior, His life, His mission, the Atonement and His influence in our lives today. The conference will also feature special vocal and instrumental presentations.

“Attending the BYU Easter Conference is an ideal way to prepare to celebrate the Easter season,” said Brent Nordgren, production manager for the Religious Studies Center at BYU.

“My Redeemer Lives!”, a new book containing the presentations from both last year’s and this year’s Easter Conference, is available now and will also be available for purchase at the conference.

The event is hosted by BYU Religious Education and the BYU Religious Studies Center. For more information, visit rsc.byu.edu/.
