BYU Trombone Choir to perform Clapton's "Layla" in recital March 29

Under the direction of Will Kimball, the Brigham Young University Trombone Choir will perform Tuesday, March 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.

The evening will feature a 19-part trombone ensemble performing classical works during the first half of the program and jazz works after intermission.

Highlights of the evening will include a 16-part arrangement of rocker Eric Clapton's classic "Layla" as well as three works performed by a trombone quartet that is a subset of the choir.
