Giulia Faggio, a research economist with the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, will present "Economic Growth in Europe: How Does the Regulated EU Economy Interact with the Flexible UK Economy?" Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. in 238 Herald R. Clark Building.
Her address is part of the Transatlantic Lecture Series at Brigham Young University's David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies.
Faggio's current research covers tax incentives and female labor-market participation across Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries; wage inequality and firm productivity dispersion in the UK and Norway; and the impact of UK disability reforms on labor participation.
