BYU Television, KBYU-TV to air BYU-Boise State men's basketball Dec. 29

On Saturday, Dec. 29, BYU Television and KBYU-TV (Channel 11) will provide live coverage of the BYU men’s basketball team’s match-up against Boise State University. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. (MT).

Coming off an 88-66 victory over Lamar University and an 86-67 victory over Pepperdine University, the 9-2 Cougars are ranked no. 21 nationally this week. The Cougars are also scheduled to play Southern Utah University, Loyola Marymount University and Wake Forest University in the next several weeks before beginning Mountain West Conference play.

BYU Television is available in 45 million homes throughout Utah and the United States on the Dish Network, DirecTV and approximately 180 cable systems. The station also provides a live program stream via the Internet at www.byutv.org.

BYU’s space ace: Minor planet named in honor of Jani Radebaugh

BYU planetary geology professor Jani Radebaugh’s contributions to planetary science have reached cosmic proportions as she recently received the prestigious honor of having a minor planet named her. The asteroid, previously known as “45690,” now bears the name “45690janiradebaugh” on official NASA/JPL websites.
