Brigham Young University’s School of Music will present its Symphony Orchestra in a concert Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The Symphony Orchestra is directed by Eric Hansen and will be performing works from the classical period, including “Carnival of the Animals” by Saint-Saen and Verdi’s Overture to “La Forza Del Destino.” They will also be premiering “Plutoids” by BYU faculty composer Neil Thornock.
The program will also feature two BYU alumni, Javier and Lindsay Clavere, a married couple who are studying at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. They will perform Mozart’s Concerto for two pianos with the orchestra.
