BYU site of semiannual Merit Badge Powwow Oct. 15 and 29

Brigham Young University will host the semiannual BYU Merit Badge Powwow for Boy Scouts of America Saturday, Oct. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Registration is $20 per scout and is available online until Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. at powwow.byu.edu.

The powwow will offer 31 merit badge classes including the newest merit badge, Geocaching, which was added in 2010.  Powwow headquarters will be in the Clyde Building south of the Wilkinson Student Center, and classes will be held throughout campus.
