Before their spring tour of Southern California and Nevada, the Brigham Young University Singers will present a “bon voyage” concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.

The Singers will begin their tour of Southern California and Nevada on April 28, performing at middle schools, high schools, cultural centers and stake centers.

A well-traveled group, the Singers have previously performed throughout the United States and in Russia, the Baltic States, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, England, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand.

In 2007, the group toured South Africa, singing with local choirs, giving workshops at local universities and performing for sold-out audiences throughout the country. Next April, the group will travel to Ireland for the Cork International Choral Festival and a tour of Ireland and England.
