BYU School of Music hosts showcase performance series Sept. 26-29

The Brigham Young University School of Music will host its popular fall semester series of showcase concerts featuring BYU’s top musical ensembles Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 26-29, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets for each concert can be purchased for $9 or $6 with student ID at the Fine Arts Ticket Office by calling (801) 422-9348 or by visiting performances.byu.edu.

The concerts are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 26-27: Choral Showcase featuring the BYU Singers, Concert Choir, Men’s Chorus and Women’s Chorus.

  • Thursday, Sept. 28: Instrumental Showcase with the Philharmonic Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band.

  • Friday, Sept. 29: Jazz Showcase featuring Synthesis, Jazz Voices, Jazz Legacy Dixieland Band and Jazz Ensemble. For more information, contact the School of Music at (801) 422-3083.
